Material Overview
- 190gsm Textile
- Dye-sublimation printed for vibrant colours and images

Each item is printed and finished to your requirements.
Fabrics are printed via a process of dye-sublimation which uses special inks and undergoes a post-print heating process to 'fix' the ink into the fabric. This makes it both scuff-resistant and washable.
Please note, this material is printed once per week (on Wednesdays). This means turnaround can be from 3 to 9 working days, depending when ordered in the week.

Finishes Available for Backlit Polyester
Below are the standard finishes available for this material. There are no additional charges for these finishes.

Silicone Edge Graphics (SEG), aka Kedar Edge
Graphics will be stitched to a strip of silicone edging, suitable for exhibition tension frames.
14mm wide silicone will be used as standard, unless otherwise requested.
To ensure good fitting, please only order the frame size to fit to. We will account for fabric stretch, shrinkage and silicone edge in the produced size.
There is no charge for this finish.

Trimmed to Size
Graphics will be cut to the size ordered with one of our Zünd cutting machines.
There is no charge for this finish.

Hems Only
Graphics will be given a stitched hem.
There is no charge for this finish.
Artwork
To help ensure your artwork is processed quickly and without any problems, please refer to our artwork requirements.
For any Backlit Polyester items, 50mm bleed must be supplied. This allows for any extra material required for hems, as well as shrinkage and movement when printing and cutting. Please also avoid including any crop marks or other registration marks in your exported print-ready file.
Notice
Our thread colours are black or white. Our sewists will choose the most appropriate colour to complement your graphic.
Currently we can only print up to 3 metres on the shortest edge, to our standard pricing. Fabric prints above this size will require a bespoke quotation.
