Material Overview

• 100% Polyester
• Perforated mesh texture allows airflow while retaining great image visibility
• 230gsm - light but strong
• Dye-sublimation printed for vibrant colours and images
• DIN 4102-1-B1 fire-rated
• Standard finishing included at no extra charge
• Double-folded hem (50mm + 10mm tuck-under) for strength and a tidy finish
• Plastic (rust-free) eyelets
• Delivered folded, either in bags or boxes - light, easy and typically cheaper to transport with no need for long tubes

Each item is printed and finished to your requirements.

Fabrics are printed via a process of dye-sublimation which uses special inks and undergoes a post-print heating process to 'fix' the ink into the fabric. This makes it both scuff-resistant and washable.

Advantages Over PVC-Based Materials

Whereas its PVC-based counterparts require more careful packaging, such as being rolled around a central core (tube) to prevent folding, creasing and pinching, Fabric Mesh is well suited to folding down, and this makes for far simpler, smaller and easier shipping, transportation and deployment.

At 230gsm, Fabric Mesh is light, making handling and deployment easier for end users and fitters. As an example, a full 3375mm × 1780mm Heras Fencing Banner on Fabric Mesh weighs 1.4kg, compared to around 1.9kg for a PVC-based equivalent - this can make a huge difference for longer/larger installations. Despite the lighter weight, the 100% polyester makeup of the material and industry-machine sewn hems result and a very strong fabric, that coupled with its airflow qualities, create a finished product that will last.

With its 100% polyester makeup, the material is more environmentally friendly than traditional PVC-based materials. This can often be a requirement for certain customers, end users and companies that have environmental targets or policies, so Fabric Mesh can open up new markets and opportunities where PVC-based materials are automatically ruled out.

Artwork

To help ensure your artwork is processed quickly and without any problems, please refer to our artwork requirements.

For any Fabric Mesh Polyester items, 50mm bleed must be supplied. This allows for any extra material required for hems, as well as shrinkage and movement when printing and cutting.

Notice

While Fabric Mesh Polyester is a tight-knit fabric, some light show-through is possible when light sources are behind the fabric.

Fabric Mesh Polyester items are supplied folded in polybags. Any creases can be ironed out or will drop out when the fabric is tensioned.

Our thread colours are black or white. Our sewists will choose the most appropriate colour to complement your graphic.

Currently we can only print up to 3 metres on the shortest edge, to our standard pricing. Fabric prints above this size will require a bespoke quotation.
